Time to time we come across some interesting boat designs or built boats. We noticed the following one at the beach at low tide in Brittany. Nice to see a different design compared to classic monohulls, catamarans or trimarans.
Sebastien had seen the boat before a couple of years ago and told me that it works really well under sails. It is definitively an interesting proa design and as you can notice even the dinghy is a little version of the mother ship - how cute...
We will try to find out more about this special boat and maybe we will cross it on the water one day. By the way it is difficult to say where is the bow and where the transom, this boat is goes always going forward in either direction.
We actually saw the boat again - same anchorage but this time it was floating (close to high tide). It was a grey day again in Brittany...
